Write your family Legacy
Digging in your family in the past and written about people and events that you can discover a fascinating exercise. A family history also helps children and grandchildren a sense of belonging, a sense of continuity between generations. I also in my family history of interesting people, as a springboard for novels and documentaries. What began as a simple compilation of information for future generations, was the spark for the stories to transmit to others.
Research began with a relative:
My research and writing began when my mother, 91, asked me to take the project to write his memoirs. I had heard some stories about their early life, but many have forgotten and did not know about others. I learned very early, she had almost a century of life, and I discovered I was learning the story of a remarkable woman.
Knowing family:
If you start your family history, you learn about your parents and grandparents in another way. They see through their memories and the memories of others, as they were while growing up, fighting for a life of subsistence for a young family and a contribution to their community, a better life for others.
My great grandmother was one of them. I discovered that the wife and mother of a judge
September, live in war zones, Hungary, elected to succeed his first son born in the USA –
and with it the rest of their children, that my grandmother. In the meantime, my great grandmother was only an image in a photo album, now she has for me a fascinating courageous woman, a woman could do school, tells her story.
