I have just ventured into interior design. It has been a lifelong dream for me, because even as a little kid I would spend hours drawing home interiors, designing bedrooms, dens, bathrooms and kitchens. I have been told that I have chic, elegant taste in materials, decors and ornaments, and have the knack for getting the best valued prices without compromising high quality and functionality. My first project would be my folks’ dream house, which my siblings and I have saved up for in the past five years, prior to their retirement from work. We found this prime property a few meters away from the ocean, because we know ocean breeze would work best for their lungs. Mom and Dad really love the beach, and we know they have a lot of great memories of the tropical scenes.

Anyway, the house is completely built, and I am almost done with the plans for the interiors. I have contacted most of the suppliers for decors and furniture, most of whom are referred by friends and family, based on their own home building experiences. Almost everything is done, except in the matter of rugs and carpets. I have checked out almost all shops in my locality for great quality area rugs to cover the floorings of the receiving area, master’s bedroom, and smaller ones for each of the guest rooms. The rugs were fine, but all were plain and come to think of it, look more like towels draped on the floor.

Good thing I had the smarts to check my prospects online, and fortunately found a great online shop that sells cheap rugs with a wide assortment of designs, including Persian and Oriental ones that I’m sure Mom would be delighted to see in the living room. It is easy to find what you need and prefer because the online rugs are cataloged by shape, size, color and make (materials), which makes it easier to search what will work best with your homes.
